Girls Cross Country Finishes 11th at Class 3A State Meet

FORT DODGE, Iowa (October 31, 2025) — The ADM Girls Cross Country team capped off an impressive 2025 season with an 11th-place finish at the IGHSAU Class 3A State Meet held at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge. Competing against the state's best, the Tigers demonstrated determination and depth across their lineup.

Team Performance

ADM tallied 255 team points, finishing just behind Gilbert (253) and ahead of Xavier Cedar Rapids (262). The race was tightly contested among the middle teams, with mere seconds separating many individual finishers.

Individual Results

Leading the way for ADM was sophomore Elliotte Von Roden, who crossed the line in 20:06.5, placing 54th overall and earning 36 team points. Close behind was junior Allie Eggleston, who clocked a season-best 20:13.3 for 58th place (40 team points).

Junior Addy Bjork continued ADM's strong showing with a personal record time of 20:35.3, finishing 75th overall (50 team points). Senior Ella Popp also recorded a personal record, finishing in 20:57.9 for 86th place (59 team points). Rounding out ADM's scoring five was junior Lydia Georgick, who posted another personal best of 21:20.2 to finish 99th overall (70 team points).

Final Thoughts

ADM's 11th-place finish at the 2025 state meet continues the program's tradition of excellence and sets the stage for another promising season in 2026.
