Tigers Go 2-2 In Urbandale Tournament

 The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball Team turned in a strong showing at the Urbandale Tournament on Saturday, October 4th, earning two wins and two losses in a competitive field that included Council Bluffs Lincoln, Southeast Polk, Waukee Northwest, and Western Christian.

ADM opened the day with momentum, defeating Council Bluffs Lincoln in straight sets, 21–12 and 21–17. The Tigers carried that energy into their next match, topping Southeast Polk 21–15, 21–15 to start the tournament 2–0.

The competition stiffened in the afternoon as ADM faced two of the state's top programs. The Tigers fell to Class 5A #1 Waukee Northwest, 14–21 and 9–21, before closing the day against perennial powerhouse Western Christian, dropping that match 17–21 and 11–21.

With the 2–2 finish at Urbandale, ADM now holds an impressive 18–8 overall record on the season. The Tigers will be back in action on Monday night, October 6th, for their fifth Raccoon River Conference matchup, traveling to take on Bondurant-Farrar. First serve is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
