Tigers Sweep Gilbert in Conference Clash
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball Team took care of business at home on Tuesday night, sweeping Gilbert in straight sets to secure their 16th win of the season. ADM came out strong in the opening set, using sharp serves and aggressive net play to roll to a 25-13 victory. The second set followed a similar script, with ADM maintaining a steady lead before closing it out 25-17. Gilbert put up their best fight in the third, but the Tigers held their ground and finished off the sweep with a 25-20 win.
A Key Conference Victory
The victory was an important one in the Raccoon River Conference standings. ADM improved to 3-1 in league play, now just behind Gilbert (4-1) and within reach of first-place Ballard, who remains unbeaten at 5-0.
The Tigers have now gone 3-3 in their last six contests, standing at 16-6 overall. Tuesday's win gives ADM momentum as they continue their push through the heart of the conference schedule.
Looking Ahead
Next up for ADM is a busy Saturday at the Urbandale Varsity Invitational, where the Tigers will test themselves against a strong field. ADM is scheduled to take on Council Bluffs Lincoln, Southeast Polk, and Waukee Northwest, with play beginning at 9:00 a.m.
