Volleyball Sweeps Carroll in Conference Opener

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball Team powered to its 12th victory of the season on Tuesday night, defeating Carroll in straight sets to open Raccoon River Conference play.

It was a battle of the Tigers as ADM traveled to Carroll for their first conference matchup of the year. ADM wasted no time establishing control, taking the first two sets by identical scores of 25-15 before closing out the sweep with a 25-18 win in the third.

With the victory, ADM extends its Raccoon River Conference winning streak to nine matches, dating back to last season when the Tigers went a perfect 8-0 to claim the conference crown.

The win was also a strong bounce back for ADM, who had dropped its first two matches of the year during its home tournament last Thursday. The Tigers now stand at 12-2 overall.
