RRC Champs! Tiger Clinch After Beating Winterset

The ADM Tigers volleyball team secured their second consecutive Raccoon River Conference title with a dominant 3-0 sweep over Winterset on Thursday night. The Tigers finished conference play with a perfect 8-0 record for the second straight year, clinching the championship in style with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, and 25-21.

ADM's high-powered offense was led by London Warmuth, who recorded a match-high 19 kills on 34 attempts, while Addison Herrick contributed 6 kills on 11 attempts. Setter Elise Coghlan controlled the offense with 22 assists and added 8 digs. Macy Person also played a key role, tallying 6 kills and 5 digs, while libero Madi James led the defense with 15 digs and 16 successful serves.

ADM dominated the match from the start, holding Winterset to under 20 points in the first two sets and withstanding a late push in the third to seal the win. The victory improved ADM's overall record to 18-7, as they completed another undefeated conference season.

The Tigers' strong serving helped control the tempo, with Warmuth, James, and Coghlan each serving tough to keep Winterset on the back foot. ADM also showcased its defensive prowess, recording 42 total digs and 8 block assists to stifle Winterset's attack.

With the regular season now complete, ADM will turn their attention to the postseason. As the top seed in their Class 4A regional, the Tigers will host the winner of Winterset and Des Moines Hoover in the second round of regionals on Thursday, October 24th. ADM will look to carry the momentum from their perfect conference run into a deep playoff push.
