Tigers Roar Past Cats
In a battle of top-10 teams, the ADM Tigers volleyball squad delivered a statement on Thursday night, defeating #8-ranked Carlisle in straight sets on the road. ADM, ranked #10, remains undefeated in Raccoon River Conference play after the 25-10, 25-22, 25-21 victory, improving to 16-7 overall and 6-0 in the conference.
The Tigers set the tone early with a commanding 25-10 win in the first set, controlling every aspect of play. ADM's aggressive serving and sharp attack left Carlisle with little room to breathe. However, the Wildcats responded in the second and third sets, making each highly competitive. ADM showed resilience in the face of the challenge, closing out both sets with 25-22 and 25-21 wins, respectively, to secure the sweep.
With just two games remaining in conference play, the Tigers are now in position to capture the Raccoon River Conference title. A win in either of their remaining games will seal the championship.
Next week marks the final stretch of the regular season, as ADM hosts Boone on Tuesday and finishes on the road against Winterset on Thursday. The Tigers will look to maintain their perfect conference record and head into postseason play with confidence.
