Tigers Knock Off Ranked DCG
The ADM Tigers volleyball team pulled off a hard-fought 3-1 non-conference win against Dallas Center-Grimes (DCG) on Thursday night. In a tightly contested match, ADM emerged victorious with set scores of 21-25, 25-23, 25-22, and 25-23 to secure the win.
ADM started slowly, dropping the first set 21-25 as DCG capitalized on early errors by the Tigers. Despite the loss, ADM found their rhythm towards the end of the set, setting the tone for the comeback. The second set was a back-and-forth battle, but ADM managed to edge out DCG 25-23. ADM kept the momentum rolling in the third set, winning another close one at 25-22 and finalized the victory by winning the fourth set 25-23. ADM was led by standout performances from London Warmuth and Addison Herrick. Warmuth recorded 17 kills throughout the night, while Herrick contributed 9 kills and 3 digs. Setter Elise Coghlan played a pivotal role, dishing out 31 assists and racking up 10 digs, guiding the Tigers' attack.
