Montag’s Five-Goal Night Powers ADM Girls Soccer to 9-0 Victory Over Perry

The ADM Girls Soccer team broke into the win column in dominant fashion Monday night, shutting out Perry 9-0 in non-conference action at ADM High School.

Freshman Addison Montag led the offensive surge with a standout performance, scoring five goals to pace the Tigers. Montag wasted no time getting started, finding the back of the net just over three minutes into the match to give ADM an early 1-0 advantage. She continued her impressive first half by adding three more goals, accounting for four of ADM's six first-half scores.

Freshman Riley Odam and sophomore Rowan Crowell each contributed a goal in the opening half as well, helping the Tigers build a commanding 6-0 lead heading into the break.

The second half saw a slower start offensively, with ADM breaking through again midway through the period. Montag capped her big night with her fifth goal, extending the lead to 7-0. Odam and Crowell each added another goal late to seal the 9-0 victory.

With the win, ADM improves to 1-1 on the season, while Perry falls to 0-1. The Tigers will return to action Friday at the Des Moines Christian tournament.
