Girls Soccer Punches Ticket To State Tourney

Behind a strong second half and tough defense, the ADM Girls Soccer team defeated Glenwood 3-1.  The win advances the Tigers to the 2023 State Tournament in Des Moines, Iowa since the 2019 season.  The Tigers will face Pella on Wednesday, May 31st at 12:45 on field 8 at the James Cownie Soccer Complex in Des Moines.

ADM fell behind to start the game as Glenwood pushed across an early goal and took a 1-0 lead into halftime.  ADM would respond and Helen Kirk scored the equalizer and go-ahead goals to put the Tigers ahead to 2-1 in the second half.  Josi Dufoe then salted away the game by adding an insurance goal to finish the scoring at 3-1.  The Tigers also displayed stingy defense behind keeper Dani Person and a tough back row.
