The ADM Tigers wrestling team put on a dominant performance at their home tournament, the Tiger Invitational, on Saturday, securing the team championship with 191 points. ADM edged out Southeast Polk (188.5) in a highly competitive field featuring several top programs.

The Tigers saw multiple wrestlers finish on the podium, including three individual champions, several top-three finishers, and a strong overall team effort.


ADM's Top Performers

Champions

  • 132 lbs – Landon Moorhead: Pinned his way to the finals and won the title with a 4-2 decision over Dayton Gusman (Red Oak).
  • 144 lbs – Ethan Johnson: Took first place with an impressive 9-8 decision over Kyler Sandholm (Red Oak) in the finals.
  • 215 lbs – Karver Sutton: Won the championship in a thrilling ultimate tiebreaker (3-2) over Trevor Bailey (Iowa Falls-Alden).

Runner-Up Finishes

  • 138 lbs – Grayson Sutter: Advanced to the finals with two dominant falls before taking second place.
  • 190 lbs – Jon Hatchitt: Reached the finals with a first-period pin before falling in a tough technical fall match to Cole Martin (Ames).

  • 165 lbs – Henry Krug: Bounced back from a semifinal loss with back-to-back pins, including a 1:47 fall in the third-place match.
  • 175 lbs – Travis Jacoby: Claimed third with a pin in 2:50 over Colin Grundlingh (Roland-Story).
