Girls Bowling Places 4th: Fuquey Individual Champion

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn girls bowling team earned a fourth-place finish at the Heart of the Raccoon River Conference Meet on Monday, January 26, at Perfect Games Bowling Alley in Ames.

ADM competed against Ballard, Bondurant-Farrar, Carroll, Gilbert, Greene County, and Nevada in the conference field. Teams bowled three games, with the Tigers putting together a strong overall performance against tough competition.

Individually, sophomore Rhylea Fuquey led the way for ADM, rolling a meet-best 519 total pins to claim the individual conference title. Fuquey's consistent performance across all three games paced the field and highlighted a strong day for the Tigers.

The ADM girls will now turn their attention back to Perfect Games Bowling Alley, where they will compete in the Class 2A, Region 2 State Qualifying Meet on Monday. The Tigers will face seven other schools with a spot at the state tournament on the line.
