Bio

Ryan began as a volunteer coach on the ADM staff in the 2022/2023 season and has coached youth travel teams in Iowa and Minnesota since 2011.

Ryan received his associate's degree from Waldorf College, where he was a member of the Men's Basketball team, his bachelor’s degree in health promotion from the University of Northern Iowa, and his master’s degree in healthcare administration from Des Moines University.

Ryan has been in healthcare operational leadership roles since 2007 and has a strong background in leadership and team development and organizational culture. Ryan also coaches youth basketball in our TAC Girls program and volunteers for the ADM Softball program every summer in the booth for all home games.

His wife, Stephanie, is a Business Analyst with WR Berkeley and they have four daughters, all of whom have been in the ADM program; Aniston (2021 graduate), Cameran (2024 graduate), Ellis (2026) and Tatum (2030). Ryan grew up in the gym, as his father, Tom, was a girls basketball coach in Northern Iowa for over three decades.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys all things Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Vikings and is a big music/concert fan. When not watching Bodycam or Dateline, Ryan also can be seen walking his two dogs, Hudson and Gus, around town or attending their daughter's many sporting events.
