Aaron feels extremely blessed to enter into his second stint as an ADM Head Basketball Coach, albeit with a new gender this time! Aaron will be entering into his 23rd year as a head basketball coach and his 31st year of coaching basketball overall.

Aaron will be entering his 31st year of teaching (20th year as the MS Counselor) and his 22nd year here at ADM School District. Aaron started his career here at ADM as the 7th Grade Earth Science teacher back at the DAC and progressed into the MS Counseling position back in the 2007 - 2008 school year. During his tenure, he has seen A LOT of changes throughout the district - from the opening of an 8/9 wing of the MS/HS complex, to the closing of Minburn Elementary and the Old Middle School (now the DAC) and now on the verge of a new HS building project.

Aaron's wife, Heather, works as the International Shipping Coordinator at Hawkeye Breeders Services here in rural Adel. Heather is excited to help coach within the girls program and is looking forward to getting to know the girls within the program. Aaron & Heather's two adult children both graduated from ADM Schools, with Caden graduating during the unique COVID closure year of 2020 and Camryn graduating in 2024.

In his spare time, Aaron likes to golf, play pickleball, go boating, watch college and professional football and basketball and support the Iowa Hawkeyes, where both of their children attended!
