ADM Girls Basketball Pulls Away for 51–28 RRC Win Over Ballard
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn girls basketball team delivered a strong all-around performance Friday night in Adel, rolling past Ballard 51–28 in Raccoon River Conference action.
ADM set the tone early, racing out to a 14–7 lead after the opening quarter. The Tigers then put together their best stretch of the night in the second quarter, outscoring the Bombers 15–5 to take a commanding 29–12 advantage into halftime.
The Tigers continued to apply pressure after the break, pushing the lead to 42–19 by the end of the third quarter. ADM maintained control in the fourth, closing out the contest with a 51–28 victory.
Sophomore Ella Subbert led the Tigers with 14 points, while junior Alexis Maxwell added 11. Senior Lauren Hagedorn chipped in 6 points as ADM showcased balanced scoring throughout the lineup.
Ballard was led by junior Grace Grundmeyer and sophomore Maci Harder, who scored 7 points apiece.
With the win, ADM improves to 11–6 overall and 10–3 in the Raccoon River Conference, while Ballard drops to 5–13 overall and 4–8 in RRC play.
