Tigers Roar Past Lions

Des Moines, Iowa — The ADM Girls Basketball team showcased their dominance in a commanding 58-28 victory over Clear Lake on Friday at Wells Fargo Arena. The Tigers set the tone early and never looked back, improving their season record to 7-3 with the impressive win.


Strong Start and Relentless Defense

The Tigers wasted no time asserting themselves, jumping out to an 18-8 lead after the first quarter. ADM maintained their momentum in the second, adding another 13 points while holding Clear Lake to just six. By halftime, the Tigers were firmly in control with a 31-14 advantage.

The third quarter was a showcase of ADM's intensity on both ends of the court. The Tigers outscored the Lions 23-7, extending their lead to 54-21 and effectively sealing the game before the final frame. With the outcome decided, ADM cruised through the fourth quarter to secure the 58-28 victory.


Key Contributors

ADM's balanced scoring attack was led by senior Kelli Storck, who poured in 15 points. Freshman Ella Subbert added 13 points, while sophomore Alexis Maxwell chipped in nine. The Tigers' depth and unselfish play were evident as multiple players contributed on both ends of the floor.

Clear Lake, now 1-6 on the season, was paced by freshman Jacelyn Ainley with eight points, followed by junior Alexis Theiss with five and junior Ashleigh Amble with four.
