Tigers Run Away With Team Title

 

Perry, Iowa — October 2, 2025
The ADM Tigers boys cross country team delivered a dominant performance Thursday evening at the Leon Fox Invitational, held at the Perry Golf and Country Club. Behind a strong pack effort, ADM claimed the varsity team championship with a low score of 30 points, well ahead of second-place Winterset (102 points) and third-place Ballard (105 points).

Leading the Way

Senior Ty Landphair led the charge for the Tigers, cruising to an individual victory with a time of 17:07.85. Just behind him was junior Ty Miller, who crossed in 17:28.08 to secure second place overall. The one-two punch up front gave ADM early control of the race.

Junior Max Marple and freshman Andrew Coller kept the momentum rolling, finishing 7th and 8th respectively, both under 18 minutes. Senior Robbie Hall closed out the Tigers' scoring with a strong 12th-place finish at 18:05.27.

Depth and Consistency

ADM's depth proved to be a key factor, with multiple runners pushing the pace in the varsity field. Sophomore Jack Leistikow placed 17th (18:45.22), while senior Nic Fuller added a 23rd-place finish (19:16.37) as displacers, showcasing the program's depth across grade levels.

  • 2nd – Winterset: 102 points

  • 3rd – Ballard: 105 points

  • 4th – Saydel: 116 points

  • 5th – Greene County: 144 points

  • 6th – Perry: 149 points

  • 7th – Woodward-Granger: 163 points

  • 8th – Roland-Story: 184 points

ADM finished with an impressive team average of 17:40 per runner.
