Tigers Continue Winning Streak

The ADM Boys Golf team continues their winning ways.

 

The boys traveled over the weekend and played in the Pella Invitational, also known as the Dutch Masters. This 2 day 36 hole event is played at Bos Landen and Pella Country Club. After the first day of play ADM trailed the Solon Spartans by 5 strokes. In the second round of golf the Tiger's fired low scores of 71 (-1) by Easton Korell, 73 (+1) by Lincoln Banwart, 74 (+2) by Grant Jansen, and 79 (+7) by Finn Garton. These four scores allowed the Tigers to capture the victory and take home the trophy, beating Solon on Day 2 by 11 strokes. 

 

Individually, ADM's Easton Korell won the 66 golfer field by shooting a 146 (75 & 71) earning himself the "Green Jacket." Also, medaling in the tournament was Grant Jansen who finished in 7th. It was a great show of toughness, determination, and resiliency by the Tiger Golf team.
