On to State! Boys Bowling Qualifies Team and Two Individuals
The ADM Boys Bowling team made program history on Monday, February 16, 2026, capturing the Class 2A State Qualifying Meet championship at Perfect Games in Ames. Hosted by Ballard High School, the Tigers rolled a meet-best 3,040 pins to earn their first-ever team berth to the IHSAA Class 2A State Bowling Tournament.
In just the second season of the program's existence, ADM has quickly established itself among the state's top competitors. This year's qualification marks the first state tournament appearance for the boys bowling team — a significant milestone for the growing program.
Team Championship Performance
ADM set the tone early and maintained consistency throughout the 15 Baker-format games, finishing with a commanding 86-pin advantage over runner-up Waterloo East (2,954). Bondurant-Farrar placed third with 2,913.

The Tigers delivered several big games throughout the day, including scores of 247 (twice), 223, 219, and 214, showcasing both firepower and depth in their lineup.
Strong Individual Performances
In addition to the team championship, ADM qualified two individuals for the state tournament.
Senior Cole Darling led the way with a three-game series of 691 (227, 216, 248), finishing third overall individually. His 248 in Game 3 was one of the highest single games of the day.
Fellow senior Trey Lee also punched his ticket to state with a 682 series (257, 188, 237), placing fourth overall. Lee's 257 in his opening game was a standout performance and helped set the momentum for the Tigers.
