ADM Boys Basketball Tops Gilbert 76–58 in RRC Road Win
The ADM boys basketball team picked up a key Raccoon River Conference victory on Friday, February 6, knocking off Gilbert 76–58 at Gilbert High School.
The game opened at a fast pace, with both teams combining for 35 points in the first quarter. ADM held a slim 20–15 edge after one, then began to create separation in the second quarter. The Tigers limited Gilbert to just eight points in the period while adding 12 of their own to take a 32–23 lead into halftime.
Offense came alive for both teams in the third quarter, as each side scored more than 20 points. ADM matched Gilbert's energy and maintained control, pushing the lead to 58–45 heading into the final frame. From there, the Tigers stayed composed, outscoring Gilbert 18–13 in the fourth quarter to cruise to the 76–58 road win.
Senior Trey Bryte powered the Tigers with a dominant all-around performance, pouring in a game-high 33 points while also contributing eight assists and four steals. Fellow senior Hudson Lorensen added 18 points, and senior Hudson Shull finished with 14 points to give ADM three players in double figures.
ADM improves to 16–2 on the season and 12–2 in conference action.
