Tigers Defense Stifles Bluejays

 

The ADM boys basketball team put together a complete performance Tuesday night at ADM High School, rolling to a convincing 73–32 victory over Bondurant-Farrar in Raccoon River Conference action.

The Tigers came out sharp from the opening tip, building a 16–9 lead by the end of the first quarter. ADM turned up the pressure in the second period, pouring in 23 points while holding the Bluejays to just 11 to take a commanding 39–20 advantage into halftime.

Defense took center stage in the third quarter as the Tigers limited Bondurant-Farrar to just three points while scoring 19 of their own, extending the lead to 58–23 heading into the final frame. ADM closed things out with a 15–9 fourth quarter to secure the 73–32 win.

Senior Hudson Lorensen led the Tigers with a game-high 22 points. Fellow seniors Trey Bryte and Eli Wiebers also reached double figures, scoring 12 and 10 points respectively, as ADM showcased its balanced offensive attack.

With the win, ADM improves to 13–2 overall and 10–2 in the Raccoon River Conference. Bondurant-Farrar falls to 3–10 on the season and 2–9 in conference play.

The Bluejays will travel to Boone on Friday to face the Toreadors, while the Tigers return home to Adel on Friday night to host Ballard in a matchup with the Bombers.
