Tigers Start 2026 Win Non-Conference Win

The ADM boys basketball team turned in a strong all-around performance Saturday night, rolling to a 76–46 non-conference victory over Van Meter at ADM High School.

ADM set the tone early, jumping out to a 21–13 lead after the first quarter and never looking back. The Tigers continued to build momentum in the second quarter, taking a 33–20 advantage into halftime. A decisive third quarter, where ADM outscored Van Meter 22–17, put the game firmly in hand before the Tigers closed the night with a 21–9 fourth quarter.

Balanced scoring and efficient shooting highlighted the win for ADM, which knocked down 11 three-pointers and finished 17-of-21 from the free throw line.

Offensive Leaders

  • Hudson Lorensen led all scorers with 15 points, knocking down four three-pointers.

  • Trey Bryte added 14 points and was a force all over the floor, also grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 9 assists for a near triple-double.

  • Walker Holmberg chipped in 12 points, providing a strong scoring punch.

  • Hudson Shull finished with 11 points, including three three-pointers.

Team Effort
ADM's depth and ball movement were on display, as the Tigers recorded 18 assists on 24 made field goals. On the boards, ADM held a 41–28 rebounding advantage, led by Bryte's double-digit effort. Defensively, ADM forced turnovers and converted them into transition opportunities, keeping consistent pressure on Van Meter throughout the night.
