Balanced Attack Leads Tigers Past Norwalk
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Basketball team picked up a hard-fought 61-54 victory over Norwalk in a non-conference game on Tuesday night.
In the first quarter, both teams came out strong, with the Tigers holding a slight 11-9 lead at the end of the period. The second quarter continued to see both squads battle it out, with ADM maintaining its edge, taking a 24-20 advantage into the halftime break.
The Tigers' offense came alive in the third quarter, erupting for 21 points and building a double-digit lead, 45-35. Despite a strong push from the Warriors in the final frame, ADM maintained its distance and sealed the victory with a 61-54 win.
ADM was led by junior Hudson Lorensen, who had a standout performance, scoring 18 points. He was followed by junior Trey Bryte, who added 16 points. Junior Hudson Shull contributed 12 points, while senior Cade Fisher rounded out the scoring with 11 points.
With the win, the Tigers improved to 17-4 on the season, while the Warriors dropped to 10-11 as they wrapped up their regular season. ADM will look to continue its momentum in their final regular season game against Newton in Adel.
