Chris Rupe Named Class 4A Assistant Football Coach of the Year

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Community School District is proud to recognize Chris Rupe, who has been named the 2025 Iowa High School Class 4A Assistant Football Coach of the Year by the Iowa Football Coaches Association.

Coach Rupe has been a cornerstone of the ADM football program for the past nine years, serving as an assistant coach and making a lasting impact on both players and fellow coaches. His dedication, leadership, and deep knowledge of the game have played a significant role in the continued success of ADM football.

In addition to his work as an assistant football coach, Rupe serves in multiple key roles within ADM athletics, including:

  • Linebackers Coach

  • Special Teams Coach

  • Head Strength Coach

  • Head Wrestling Coach

Beyond athletic performance, Coach Rupe is deeply committed to developing young people of character. He emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and accountability, helping prepare student-athletes not only for competition on the field, but for success in life.
