Tigers Dominate Boone 42–7 in District Opener
The ADM Tigers left no doubt under the Friday night lights at Tiger Stadium, overpowering the Boone Toreadors 42–7 on September 26. Coming off a 48–0 Homecoming shutout against Bondurant-Farrar just a week earlier, the Tigers continued their hot streak by racing to a 42–0 halftime lead.
Fast Start Sets the Tone
ADM wasted no time putting points on the board. Just two minutes into the game, senior quarterback Hudson Shull capped the opening drive with a 7-yard touchdown run to give the Tigers a 7–0 lead. Boone's first possession ended in disaster when junior Maddox McIntyre fumbled, setting up ADM at the Toreador 32-yard line. Shull immediately made them pay with a 32-yard touchdown run, doubling the advantage to 14–0.
The defense kept the momentum going by forcing back-to-back punts, and the offense stayed relentless. Senior running back Reed Obstarczyk punched in a 1-yard touchdown before Shull connected with senior receiver Ethan Uglum on a 19-yard scoring strike, stretching the lead to 28–0 late in the first quarter.
First-Half Onslaught
Boone tried to answer in the second quarter, stringing together a promising drive behind senior quarterback Jude Baumgardner, but it ended with a turnover when senior Leyton Gerleman intercepted a pass at the ADM 16.
The Tigers struck quickly again, as Shull found junior Cole Waddingham for a 33-yard touchdown through the air. To cap off the explosive half, junior Alex Jensen darted in from 7 yards out, giving ADM a commanding 42–0 lead at intermission.
