Tigers Stun Norwalk with Dramatic 35-34 Overtime Win

In an unforgettable comeback on the road Friday night, the ADM Tigers clawed back from an 18-point fourth-quarter deficit to secure a thrilling 35-34 overtime victory over Norwalk.

First Half Dominance by Norwalk
The game began with ADM striking first, scoring a touchdown in the opening quarter, but the momentum quickly shifted in favor of Norwalk. The Warriors responded with 21 unanswered points in the second quarter, dominating both sides of the ball. By halftime, Norwalk led 21-7, and it looked like ADM was in for a long night.

Norwalk extended their lead to 28-10 heading into the fourth quarter after a third-quarter touchdown. However, ADM was far from finished.

ADM's Incredible Fourth-Quarter Comeback
The Tigers mounted a furious rally in the fourth quarter, outscoring Norwalk 18-0 to force overtime. Hudson Shull led the charge on the ground with 123 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including a critical 9-yard touchdown run that narrowed the gap.  With time expiring and the Tigers trailing by 3, Colby Simons drilled the game-tying field goal to send the game to overtime.

Jonathon Hatchitt added 92 rushing yards and a touchdown, contributing to ADM's dominant ground game, which racked up 242 yards. The passing attack also came alive, with Shull connecting with Grant Jansen for a 15-yard touchdown. Jansen finished with 7 receptions for 53 yards.

ADM's defense, which had struggled to contain Norwalk early, stepped up when it mattered most. The Tigers held Norwalk scoreless in the fourth quarter, forcing key stops and giving their offense the chance to stage the comeback. Standout defenders included Grant Jansen, who led the team with six solo tackles, and Karver Sutton, who contributed four solo tackles, three of them for loss.

Overtime Drama
With the score tied at 28-28, the game headed into overtime. ADM struck first in the extra period, with Shull finding the end zone on a powerful run to give the Tigers a 35-28 lead.

Norwalk quickly answered with a touchdown of their own, but the Warriors' extra point attempt to tie the game was blocked, sealing the 35-34 victory for ADM.
