State Champs! Dance Wins Championship at ISDTA
The ADM Dance Team shined on the big stage at the Iowa State Dance and Drill Team Association (ISDTA) State Championships at Wells Fargo Arena this past Friday, bringing home a state championship title. Competing against the best teams in the state, the Tigers delivered impressive performances across multiple categories.
Three Categories, Strong Results
ADM competed in Hoopla, Contemporary, and Pom divisions, showcasing their precision, athleticism, and artistry:
- In the Pom division, ADM earned a Division 1 rating, recognizing their excellence and energy.
- The Tigers placed fourth in Contemporary, earning 335 points for their elegant and emotive routine.
- The highlight of the day came in the Hoopla category, where ADM secured a first-place championship with a stunning performance that earned 363.5 points. ADM topped Sioux City West and Storm Lake to claim the title.
A Season of Success
Friday's championship performance followed a strong showing at the regional competition in Newton on November 16th, where ADM brought home medals in both Jazz and Hoopla. The team's hard work and commitment to their craft have made this season one to remember.
Looking Ahead
The Tigers will now turn their focus to the National Dance Alliance competition at Johnston High School on January 12th, 2025. With momentum on their side, ADM Dance is poised to continue representing their school and community with pride.
