Dance Team Shines at DTU Regional Competition

The ADM Dance Team brought home incredible results from the Iowa Regional Dance Team Union (DTU) Competition held in Newton this past Saturday. 

The team's performances earned the following results:
- Varsity Pom: 5th Place
- JV Pom: 2nd Place
- Varsity Jazz: Regional Champions
- Hoopla: Regional Champions

The highlight of the competition was being crowned regional champions in both the Varsity Jazz and Hoopla divisions. Dance Coach Jana Morrissey expressed her excitement about the team's success: "I was shocked but so happy to win in those two categories, especially since this year we attended a different regional competition. For the last couple of years, we've been at Johnston High School, so this was a new challenge for the team."

Looking Ahead to State
With their regional victories, the ADM Dance Team now turns their focus to the state competition, which will take place on December 6th at Wells Fargo Arena and HyVee Hall in Des Moines. The team will compete in three categories: Pom, Contemporary, and Hoopla.
