Cheer Takes 2nd Place at Heartland Championship
The ADM Cheerleading squad kicked off their competition season with an impressive 2nd place finish at the Heartland Championships, held at Ankeny High School on Saturday. Competing in their first event of the year, the Tigers delivered a strong routine, earning a final score of 80.75, just behind Carlisle, who took first place with 86.10.
ADM performed well across several categories, earning high marks in pyramids, tosses, and partner stunts with a score of 27.25, and matched Carlisle in tumbling with a score of 8.25. The Tigers also impressed with their motions and dance, receiving a score of 25, and an overall impression score of 8. Though Carlisle edged ADM in jumps, the Tigers had no deductions, contributing to their solid performance.
This strong start bodes well for ADM Cheerleading as they look ahead to their next competitions. Congratulations to the squad on an excellent first outing! Keep an eye on the Tigers as they continue their season.
