Bio

Jon is excited to have the opportunity to continue teaching in the community that he moved to 12 years ago. Jon is the son of a 30+ year Navy veteran and grew up all over the country before eventually moving to Iowa and graduating from Knoxville in 1993. Jon is in his 3rd year of teaching percussion with the high school band. Jon currently teaches the ADM drumline, frontline and assists with Jazz Band, individual/group lessons and assists in the maintenance/repair/tuning on the percussion equipment for the High School, Middle School and Elementary School. Jon has also been a coach for Adel Recreational Soccer Club for 14 seasons and a referee for the last 5 seasons. His wife, Dusty, is the assistant to the school superintendent Greg Dufoe and they have two children. One graduating last year from ADM and the second is a Freshman this year at ADM. In his spare time, Jon likes spending time with his family, puttering/building things in the garage and playing music. GO TIGERS!
