ADM Students Shine at SCIBA Honor Band Auditions
On December 4, 2025, thirteen ADM High School musicians traveled to Roosevelt High School to audition for the prestigious South Central Iowa Honor Band (SCIBA). Representing grades 9–12, these students showcased outstanding musicianship and dedication throughout the audition process. Participating students included:
Seniors: Eden Sedars, Kayleigh Wills, Keegan Clinton
Juniors: Gianna Benetti, Siena Schmidt, Avery Lenaghan, Meredith Maddy, Devin Morey, Savannah Morey
Sophomore: Cade Huskey
Freshmen: Braylon Whipps, Eleanor Longman, Blake Johnston
Because of the festival's size, SCIBA selects two ensembles each year—one for 9th–10th grade students and one for 11th–12th grade students. ADM is proud to announce that a record number of six students earned placement in this year's honor bands:
-
Eden Sedars – Flute (12)
-
Gianna Benetti – Clarinet (11)
-
Avery Lenaghan – Clarinet (11)
-
Meredith Maddy – Trumpet (11)
-
Devin Morey – Saxophone (11)
-
Braylon Whipps – Trumpet (9)
These students will rehearse with top musicians from across the region and perform in the SCIBA Honor Band Festival. The concert will take place January 10 at Ankeny High School.
ADM congratulates all auditioning students for their hard work and celebrates those selected for this exceptional opportunity. Go Tigers!
