Marching Band Shines at State Band Festival

The ADM Marching Band closed out their 2024 season on a high note, delivering a stellar performance at the State Marching Band Festival in Waukee on Saturday, October 19th. The band earned the highest possible ranking—a Division 1—scoring a school-record 85.1 points. This remarkable achievement marked the band's final performance of the season, and it was one to remember.

The 2024 ADM Marching Band's final performance demonstrated precision, musical excellence, and a spirit that left a lasting impression on judges and spectators alike. The score of 85.1 not only secured the top ranking but also set a new school record, showcasing the talent and dedication of the students, directors, and staff.  The Division 1 rating is the highest accolade a band can receive at the festival, indicating a superior level of performance in categories such as musicality, marching precision, and overall presentation. The 85.1 score, a new benchmark for the program, reflects a season filled with dedication, early morning practices, and a drive to make 2024 a year to remember.
