Bio

I am in my third year as the 7-12 activities director at ADM.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in Business Education from Buena Vista University (Storm Lake, IA) in 2002 and my Masters in K-12 Educational Administration from the University of Iowa in 2010.

Prior to arriving at ADM, I spent seventeen years at Johnston CSD as a 10-12 Business Education Instructor and Assistant to the Activities Directors along with coaching as the varsity defensive coordinator, assistant boys basketball from 03-06, and junior high track from 03-10.  Prior to teaching at Johnston, I taught and coached one year at Melcher-Dallas schools where I coached football, men's basketball, junior high track, and baseball.  While attending Buena Vista University I was a members of the men's basketball team from 1998-2002.

In my free time, I enjoy golfing and attending sporting events with my family.  I also love attending my children's activities.  I am an Iowa Hawkeye, Buena Vista Beavers, Denver Broncos, Atlanta Braves and Boston Celtics fan.

I graduated from Denison High School in 1998.

I reside in Adel with my wife Joy, my son sixth grade son, Eli, and my second grade daughter, Grace.
