ADM Students Advance to State Tennis With Waukee Team

Two ADM student-athletes, Conley Tiernen and Hudson Schmidt, are set to compete on one of the state's biggest stages as members of the Waukee boys tennis team at the upcoming state tournament.

Through a sharing agreement, ADM students have the opportunity to participate in Waukee's tennis program, and both Tiernen and Schmidt have made the most of that opportunity this season. Their contributions helped Waukee secure a spot in the 2026 IHSAA State Team Tennis Tournament, scheduled for June 2–3 in Waukee.

The Warriors earned their state berth with an impressive postseason run, defeating Southeast Polk 5-1 and Cedar Falls 5-2. The team's depth and consistency were on full display in both victories, punching their ticket to the state tournament on their home courts.

Tiernen and Schmidt have been valuable members of the lineup throughout the season, representing ADM with pride while competing alongside their Waukee teammates.
