Back-to-Back Champions: ADM Boys Claim 2025 RRC Track & Field Title

 

Gilbert, IA – May 8, 2025
In a meet that tested patience as much as performance, the ADM Boys Track and Field team emerged victorious at the 2025 Raccoon River Conference (RRC) Championships, hosted by Gilbert High School. After weather delays and lightning pushed competition into a second day, the Tigers proved their determination once again—claiming the conference title for the second consecutive year.  ADM racked up 158 points, outpacing host school Gilbert by 11 in a tightly contested meet.

Track Stars Shine Bright

  • Corbin Reed (Sr.) headlined the meet with two individual golds—dominating both the 110m Hurdles (14.47) and the 400m Hurdles (53.90)—and anchoring key relay efforts.

  • Parker Hook (So.) delivered a clutch win in the 400m dash with a 51.29, narrowly beating teammate Hudson Shull (Jr.), who placed third.

  • Zane Johnson (Fr.) showcased the future of ADM sprinting, taking 2nd in the 200m (22.07) and 3rd in the 100m (10.94).


Field Events Fuel the Tigers

  • Reid Kluesner (So.) cleared 6'3" in the High Jump to take the top spot, while teammate Will Grasty (Sr.) added points with a sixth-place finish.

  • Corbin Reed continued to rack up points with a 2nd-place Long Jump (20'1.75").

  • In the throws, Caleb Oberhoffer (Sr.) led ADM with a 4th-place finish in Shot Put (47'4.25") and Jack Siefken placed 8th, supported by solid performances in the Discus from Nick Subbert (Jr.) and Latimer Timmerman (So.).


Distance Runners Deliver

  • Torin Timmerman (Sr.) contributed in both the 1600m (4th) and 3200m (4th), backed by teammates Ty Miller and Max Marple in the long-distance events.

  • The 800m and 1600m relays added essential depth, including a 3rd-place finish in the 400m by Shull and a scoring effort from Ty Landphair (Jr.) in the 800m.


Relays Seal the Deal

ADM's relay teams showcased clutch execution across all events:

  • 1st – 800 Sprint Medley (1:34.84): Johnson, Gerleman, Engleman, Forgy

  • 1st – 4x400m Relay (3:25.95): Hook, Rynearson, Davison, Shull

  • 2nd – 4x100m Relay (43.02): Johnson, Gerleman, Hatchitt, Engleman

  • Additional scoring came from strong 4x200, Shuttle Hurdle, 4x800, and Distance Medley teams.
