Girls Track & Field Wins 5th Straight RRC Meet

Gilbert, Iowa — The ADM Girls Track and Field team once again demonstrated their dominance at the Raccoon River Conference (RRC) meet, capturing their fifth consecutive conference title with a commanding team performance. After a weather delay on Wednesday, May 7th, the Tigers returned on Thursday, May 8th, to finish what they started — and they did so with authority, racking up a meet-high 175 points to clinch the title over Gilbert (136) and North Polk (120).

Dominant Individual Performances

ADM athletes delivered across the board in both sprint and distance events. Senior Elise Coghlan led the way with double gold in the 100m Hurdles (14.70) and 400m Hurdles (1:04.21), contributing 20 points individually and showcasing elite form in both hurdle events.

In the 100m Dash, seniors Jada Grove and Calli Seehase placed 4th and 5th respectively, adding crucial points to the team tally. Dufoe also added to ADM's sprinting success with a 3rd-place finish in the 200m (25.76).

Brecken Morse added a strong 3rd-place finish in the 400m (1:00.75), and sophomore Addy Bjork claimed 4th in the 800m (2:30.75).

Distance Crew Delivers

ADM's younger distance runners also played a key role. Freshman Elliotte Von Roden placed 3rd in the 3000m (10:58.42) and 7th in the 1500m (5:09.34), collecting 8 valuable points. Senior Ella Goodrich and sophomore Allie Eggleston also performed well in their distance events.

Field Events: Tigers Reign Supreme

ADM's power in the field events was unmatched. In the Discus, junior Lauren Hagedorn claimed 1st with a throw of 120-05, while Kennedy Stanford dominated the Shot Put with a gold-winning toss of 39-02.00.

In the jumps, senior London Warmuth cleared 5-04.00 in the High Jump to take 1st, and Calli Seehase soared 17-03.00 to win the Long Jump, with Aniston Tollari adding a 4th-place finish in that event.
