Jason Kilker Named As New Head Boys Bowling Coach
ADM is excited to announce that Jason Kilker has accepted the position of Head Boys Bowling Coach at ADM pending board approval. ADM will start its inaugural season of bowling during the 2024-25 school year after previously participating as part of the Waukee bowling program.
Jason is a familiar face to ADM Activities. Jason has served as a middle school teacher and coach of numerous sports at ADM since 2010. Jason is a 1995 graduate of ADM and has been a member of the community his entire life. Jason has also been an assistant coach in the ADM Strength and Conditioning program that serves all ADM students in grades 7-12, a middle school football coach, assistant varsity wrestling coach, and middle school track coach. Jason has been very active in the bowling community in Adel and other various communities competing in multiple leagues, and achieved a perfect score of 300.
Jason graduated from Iowa State University in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science degree in history and completed his secondary education licensure in 2003. Jason then went on and earned his special education endorsement in 2010. During his time at ADM, Coach Kilker has served as a football, wrestling, strength and conditioning, and track coach.
Jason and his wife Barb have two kids - Kirsten (20) class of 2022 ADM Graduate, and Aiden (15) will be entering his sophomore year at ADM.. They have lived in Adel for the past 18 years. Both Adel, IA natives, and class of 1995 graduates. Jason and Barb had a brief stop in West Des Moines and when they started to have a family decided to come back to Adel.
When asked about his new position at ADM, Coach Kilker stated, "I am excited and honored to have the opportunity to lead the first ADM Bowling Team. Myself and family have been grateful for everything that the not only ADM schools have provided for myself, my wife, and my kids, but also for the wonderful ADM Community that we live in."
